Job summary

City of Bristol College is seeking a motivated Safeguarding Practitioner to join our safeguarding team. You will provide operational safeguarding support to students, including those with additional needs and complex care backgrounds, ensuring their safety and progress.

The role requires resilience, team orientation, and a proactive approach to safeguarding themes and Prevent, with opportunities to collaborate with external agencies to secure the best outcomes for learners.

About your role:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Safeguarding Practitioner to become part of our committed Safeguarding team.

In this role, you will play a key part in providing operational multi-agency Safeguarding support Safeguarding support to students including students with additional needs, high needs and care experienced students

This opportunity is ideal if you are team orientated, resilient and experienced in the current themes within Safeguarding and Prevent and you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in students' futures.

You will have the ability to intervene with crisis intervention as necessary to help students thrive in college and achieve their learning goals.

You will be confident to offering professional curiosity and challenge within the College as well as with external partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
