Zusammenfassung

Outwood Academy City is seeking a Learning Manager to monitor an assigned year group using MIS and Praising Stars data, and to develop intervention strategies that overcome academic and behavioural barriers to learning. You will be the first point of contact for behaviour incidents, support exclusion and readmission processes, and manage complex cases in collaboration with external agencies.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working in a school environment.
• Knowledge of issues affecting students and how to offer supportive assistance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a wide range of audiences.
• Proficiency in ICT packages, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Able to relate sympathetically to students.
• Organised, calm in a busy environment, and a proactive team player.

• Monitor all students in the assigned year group using MIS and Praising Stars data to identify concerns.
• Plan and deliver intervention strategies to remove academic and behavioural barriers to learning.
• Act as first point of contact for behaviour-related incidents.
• Support the Consequences process, including contacting parents about exclusions.
• Support readmission meetings.
• Manage complex student cases in collaboration with external agencies.
• Support student welfare in a supportive setting.
• Use data and monitoring to maximise student attainment; participate in safeguarding team.
