Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust in Scunthorpe is seeking a Learning Manager to champion student welfare, monitor progress, and coordinate targeted interventions using MIS systems and Praising Stars data.

You will act as the first point of contact for behaviour incidents, lead multi‑agency liaison, and support attendance and safeguarding processes in collaboration with external agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school environment.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience coordinating with external agencies and safeguarding matters.

Responsibilities

• Strategically monitor all students in the assigned year group using MIS and Praising Stars data to identify concerns and intervene.
• Act as the first point of contact for behaviour incidents and support the Consequences process, including parent contact and readmission meetings.
• Coordinate year-group logistics and inter‑agency meetings, including CIN/ Team Around the Child, referrals for families and attendance checks.
