Job summary

Rosebrook Primary School, part of Ad Astra Academy Trust, seeks a Safeguarding and Inclusion Officer (Band 10) to support safeguarding, attendance, and family engagement. The post works with senior leaders to coordinate referrals, review provision, and act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead with mental health responsibilities.

The role requires experience in safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration; DBS checks are required; term-time and permanent with flexible part-time options.

Qualifications

• Experience safeguarding/child protection procedures.
• Experience working with multi-agency partners to support vulnerable children.

Responsibilities

• Support safeguarding/child protection and attendance matters.
• Assist the DSL and Headteacher, acting as Deputy DSL.
• Coordinate referrals and arrange actions for children and families.
• Review provision for children and families and monitor outcomes.
• Lead on mental health initiatives in collaboration with school staff.
