Springwell School in Southampton is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Officer - Behaviour to support safeguarding of pupils and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing. You will work with senior leaders, pastoral staff, families and external agencies to ensure robust safeguarding practice and consistent support for pupils.

The role involves leading training for staff, managing behaviour that challenges, and acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Permanent, 35 hours/week, term time only.

Qualifikationen

• Safeguarding children in a school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with safeguarding and wellbeing needs.

Aufgaben

• Establish supportive, caring relationships with pupils.
• Support safeguarding practices with senior leaders, families and external agencies.
• Lead and train staff on safeguarding and behaviour management.
• Triage safeguarding concerns raised by staff and coordinate with relevant parties.
• Support and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing across the setting.
