Leicestershire County Council is recruiting a Safeguarding and Compliance Officer to join the Education Effectiveness team. An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and committed Safeguarding and Compliance Officer to join our Education Effectiveness service area, as part of Children and Families Services. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to work with our Safeguarding in Education team to deliver our training and support for education settings.
The Safeguarding and Compliance Officer will play an integral role, as part of the Education Effectiveness Team, alongside settings working with children and young people, the LADO and social care in keeping all children safe and protected from harm or neglect.
Demonstrable knowledge and an understanding of safeguarding in education, social work and Keeping Children Safe in Education will be an advantage.
An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post.
