Job summary

Dorset HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Safeguarding Advisor to join the Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Service (DIUCS) Safeguarding Team, delivering safeguarding advice to frontline staff and supporting risk identification and staff welfare.

The role spans safeguarding adults, children and Young People, with opportunities to develop training programs, collaborate with partner agencies, and contribute to service transformation. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding adults and/or children is required.
• Ability to deliver education and training in safeguarding.
• Strong communication and collaborative working skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective safeguarding advice to staff working within front line services.
• Support planning, delivery and evaluation of safeguarding education and training programs.
• Work in partnership with partner agencies to improve safeguarding outcomes.
