Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Safeguarding Advisor to join the Dorset Integrated Urgent Care Service (DIUCS) Safeguarding Team. This permanent, full-time role (part-time applications welcome with a minimum of 15 hours per week) offers flexible hours including evenings and weekends, with a rota that includes one weekend per month.

You will deliver safeguarding advice to frontline staff, contribute to safeguarding education and training, and work with partner

Formación

• Experience and working knowledge of safeguarding children and/or adults.
• Ability to deliver safeguarding advice to frontline staff.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to support multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver effective safeguarding advice to staff working within front line services, ensuring risk areas within cases are identified and that staff are adequately supported
• Support & contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of DHC safeguarding education and training programs
• Work in partnership with partner agencies and professionals, within safeguarding processes to improve outcomes
