Job summary

Dorset Integrated Urgent Care is seeking a Senior Clinical Advisor to join the SPoA team on a part-time basis (15 hours a week). The role focuses on managing a caseload referred by phone and email from GP surgeries, NHS 111, hospitals and other care teams, and arranging specialist care with the wider Trust.

The post includes mentoring students and staff and devising care programmes for other professionals, with enhanced DBS check and no visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Registered practitioner to degree or diploma level.
• Post-registration diploma-level specialist training or equivalent.
• Recent professional development evidenced in an up-to-date portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of patients referred to SPoA by phone and email.
• Provide specialist care, interventions, assessments and treatments.
• Deliver person-centred care that protects patients' safety, privacy and dignity.
• Supervise, mentor, train and provide clinical support to students and staff.
• Contribute to performance culture across SPoA and Integrated Urgent Care.
• Plan, implement and review health improvement programmes.
• Develop specialist care programmes for other professionals.
