You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and champion clean, scalable code and efficient delivery. Expect regular collaboration with product teams and a focus on engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams in a fast-paced SaaS or product-focused environment.
• Background as a hands-on software engineer before moving into leadership.
• Excellent understanding of modern software architecture, clean code, SOLID principles and software design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of software engineers through coaching, regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Create an environment where engineers can thrive, grow their careers and consistently deliver high-quality software.
• Set clear expectations and performance goals while providing constructive feedback and support.
• Champion clean, maintainable, scalable code and modern software engineering practices.
• Guide architectural decisions and stay close to the codebase to provide technical oversight and mentoring where required.
• Drive improvements in engineering processes, delivery efficiency and team effectiveness.
