Job summary

NHS Supply Chain in Wakefield is seeking an S&OP Lead to coordinate and roll out a single, aligned Sales & Operations Planning process across the organisation. You will embed a standardised framework and own end-to-end S&OP, driving discipline, alignment and timely decision-making.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, maturity of the process, and ensuring governance across categories, with hybrid working and a strong emphasis on delivering value to NHS patients.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading or coordinating Sales & Operations Planning or Integrated Business Planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of a standardised S&OP process across all categories and embed a consistent operating model.
• Own and maintain the monthly S&OP cycle with inputs, outputs and timelines delivered with discipline.
• Monitor adherence to the S&OP framework, identifying risks and driving improvements to process reliability.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align stakeholders to a single forward-looking plan.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing governance, KPIs and templates to strengthen accountability.
