Job summary

Harris Primary Academy East Dulwich is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning and inclusion across the primary phase. This role involves assisting with planning and delivering targeted activities, and using data to improve pupil outcomes.

You will work with staff to raise attainment, with a strong emphasis on phonics, safeguarding and NVQ Level 3, alongside GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience with learners with a range of needs and safeguarding knowledge.
• At least two years' school-based TA experience.
• Knowledge of strategies to support pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of needs and promote inclusion.
• Use data to improve pupil outcomes and track progress.
• Contribute to planning and evaluating provision for children with needs.
• Assist with implementation of strategies in collaboration with staff.
