Job summary

Lansdowne Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated RWI Fast Track Tutor to deliver high-impact phonics interventions using the Read Write Inc. framework. You will work with small groups and individuals to transform struggling readers into confident, fluent readers.

The role is 10 hours per week, term time only (1pm to 3pm). It is a permanent contract with Start Date: ASAP and Closing Date: 30 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Specialised role delivering RWI-based phonics interventions.
• Ability to work with small groups and individuals.
• Use ICT to monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Precision Tutoring: Lead targeted RWI Fast Track sessions.
• Accelerate Progress: adapt delivery to learner needs.
• Collaborate & Track: work with Reading Lead, monitor progress with ICT.
• Create a Positive Environment: maintain an inclusive learning space.
