Job summary

Hill View Primary, Reach South Academy Trust, is seeking an experienced Read Write Inc. Assessment Lead to join from November 2026. This 25-hour-per-week, term-time post (39 weeks) is permanent and based at Hill View Primary in Bournemouth.

The role focuses on developing fluent reading by decoding letter-sound relationships and leading the RWI approach. The successful candidate will manage assessments, deliver phonics sessions, and support staff in practice and resourcing.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who understands the central place of teaching decoding for fluent reading.
• They will manage assessment schedules and monitor progress of individuals.
• They will deliver high quality phonics lessons to groups and share best practice.
• They will support staff with Read Write Inc. resources and training.
• They should be confident working with groups and individuals.

Responsibilities
