Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Manager-level professional to lead the development of an optimized evidence strategy for HTA submissions in the UK. You will identify evidence gaps, plan and execute RWE studies, and align with UK launch and global strategies.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification in epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
• Experience in RWE and HTA/market access, ideally in industry or consultancy.
• Observational research using UK databases (e.g., CPRD/HES/SACT) with study design and analysis knowledge.
• Excellent project management, strategic and analytical skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proven stakeholder management skills to align evidence strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead evidence gap analyses and develop evidence strategies for therapy areas.
• Collaborate with Outcomes Research scientists to define patient-centered requirements for reimbursement.
• Create compelling business cases to secure funding for studies and show impact on access outcomes.
• Manage RWE projects from conception to dissemination, including vendors or internal teams, ensuring compliance.
• Maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to keep evidence plans aligned with business goals.
• Stay updated on UK datasets, platforms, and RWE methods to improve evidence generation.
• Source or provide training to develop RWE methodology skills.
