Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Mount Road Vets, just 4 miles from central Manchester. The role includes sole charge nursing at times, supported by a skilled VCA and practice team.

The successful RVN will handle nursing care, nurse appointments, admissions and discharges, and treatments while delivering outstanding client experiences.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload.
• Run nurse appointments and support preventative healthcare.
• Support patient admissions and discharges, ensuring accurate communication and records.
• Administer treatments as directed, including injections, medications, fluid therapy and dressings.
