South Manchester Veterinary Practice is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our independent team across two branches. This full-time role offers you the chance to run your own nurse clinics, develop your nursing skills and progress within the practice.
You’ll work alongside our vets and fellow nurses, deliver high‑quality patient and client care, and enjoy a supportive environment that values your contribution.
We’re an independent veterinary practice in South Manchester, operating across two branches just 3.5 miles apart, and we’re looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.
As an independent practice, we genuinely care about our team, our clients and their pets. We take pride in creating a supportive workplace where our staff feel heard and valued, and in providing the personal, high quality care our clients and their pets deserve.
We want our nurses to nurse.
You’ll have your own nurse clinics every day alongside a varied clinical role, with the opportunity to develop your skills and interests as your career progresses.
This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £40,000 FTE, depending on experience.
You’ll be an important part of our clinical team, working alongside our vets and fellow nurses across our two closely located branches.
A key part of the role is running your own daily nurse clinics, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients and has the confidence to manage their own consultations.
For those who would like to work Saturdays, we offer an optional 3-hour Saturday morning shift, where you’ll run your own nurse consultations while also providing support to the vet (paid as additional overtime or taken as paid time off in lieu).
We want to reward experience, development and the contribution you make to the practice.
We’re keen to support nurses who want to develop their skills, take on additional responsibility and progress within the practice. We’re also happy to support further qualifications and certificates in areas that interest you and complement the practice.
No compulsory weekend rota, with the option of a 3-hour Saturday morning shift.
If you’re an experienced RVN who wants more ownership of your nursing role, daily nurse-led clinics and genuine opportunities to progress, we’d love to hear from you.
