What the role involves:
Based in our clients York office, in the centre of the vibrant city, you'll be working on a mix of valuation and consultancy projects involving rural and prime residential properties. Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out valuations for loan security, tax, probate, and estate planning.
Advising on landlord and tenant matters across rural, commercial, and residential sectors.
Building relationships and securing new instructions from banks, solicitors, accountants, and private clients.
Applying basic tax law knowledge and negotiation skills to deliver excellent client outcomes.
What they're looking for:
The ideal candidate will be:
MRICS qualified and a RICS registered valuer. Out client is flexible on PQE but ideally candidates will have been practicing for a couple of years.
Strong with numbers and analytical thinking.
Skilled at writing high-quality reports, including Red Book valuations.
Detail-focused, self-motivated, and good at managing their own time.
Curious, innovative, and always looking for ways to improve.
A holder of a full UK driving licence.
