Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a proactive Rural Asset Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a varied residential, rural and corporate property portfolio. You will develop maintenance and investment plans, coordinate inspections, manage budgets and ensure safety, compliance and value across the estate.

You will build strong relationships with tenants, contractors and advisers, travel across the portfolio, and drive improvements with a focus on long-term efficiency and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a varied property and estate portfolio.
• Knowledge of property legislation, compliance, health and safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating inspections, maintenance, and contractors.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and advisers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the residential and commercial property portfolio.
• Develop and deliver property maintenance and investment plans.
• Coordinate property inspections, maintenance works and remedial works.
• Ensure properties and estate infrastructure are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
• Maintain accurate property, compliance and statutory records.
• Support property budgets, expenditure and cost control.
• Help ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
• Procure and manage contractors, consultants and suppliers, monitoring performance and service standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with tenants, agents, landowners, contractors and advisers.
• Work with internal teams to resolve property-related issues and deliver improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve condition, efficiency and long-term value of the portfolio.
• Support wider Property & Estates team with management of residential, rural and leisure operations.
