Job summary

Golden Valley Practice, a small rural dispensing practice, is seeking a GP partner to work four to six sessions weekly. The post combines clinical general practice with a share in running the partnership, including clinical governance, operations and finances.

Applicants need Full GMC registration with licence to practise, and at least two years' substantive UK GP experience after GP training, with a focus on continuity of care and relationship-based practice.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise
• Inclusion on the GMC GP Register
• Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
• Evidence of ongoing appraisal, revalidation and continuing professional development

Responsibilities

• Undertake the full range of general practice clinical work
• Share responsibility for the clinical, operational and financial success of the partnership
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality and patient safety
• Contribute to workforce and service development
• Take part in financial and strategic decision-making
• Take responsibility for the practice's NHS contract obligations
• Take responsibility for agreed areas of the practice and help shape its future direction
• Share partnership responsibilities allocated by practice needs and each partner's skills and interests
