Job summary

The GP post at Humshaugh and Wark Medical Group offers a path toward partnership in a rural setting. The role covers surgery, telephone, online and home consultations with a focus on continuity of care and protected clinical time. Full GMC registration and GP Register inclusion are required.

Six sessions is the ideal arrangement, though full-time or part-time applications are welcome, with governance shared among partners and opportunities to contribute to strategy and financial planning.

Qualifications

• MRCGP or equivalent qualification.
• Full GMC registration.
• Inclusion on GP Register.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary medical care to registered patients via surgery, phone, online and home visits.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions and prescribe.
• Refer patients to secondary and community services.
• Share governance and strategic direction with partners and participate in partnership meetings.
