Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care (NCIC) in Carlisle invites applications for a Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our integrated digestive diseases service across north Cumbria. You will work with GI physicians and surgeons, providing inpatient and outpatient care, including endoscopy, ERCP, and specialist clinics.

The post requires Specialist Register and offers a permanent contract with flexible working patterns, with a competitive salary (£113,565 - £150,569 p.a.) and NHS benefits.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration on the GMC register.
• CCST/CESR Specialist Registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology services.
• Support integrated digestive diseases service across north Cumbria.
• Endoscopy and outpatient clinics; contribute to GI care and take responsibility for patients.
