Job summary

The Star in Marske-by-the-Sea is seeking a hands-on pub manager to oversee a major refurbishment and to deliver a compelling retail-led hospitality offer on our Just Add Talent management agreement.

You'll lead kitchen operations, connect with the local community, and drive a memorable customer experience in a traditional seaside pub. Experience in high street hospitality at management level is preferred, with a passion for quality service and strong retail standards.

Major refurbishment to traditional community pub. Bring your experience in managing a team and executing a plan to build a successful pub business. What would you do with this pub to execute our retail offer.

The area: The pub is located in the town of Marske, close to the beach and transport links, just off the main town centre. The pub is surrounded by a strong combination of traditional seaside residential charm and a thriving town centre. The surrounding area is strongly driven by mature middle-affluence customers and attracts strong visitor numbers. There are 3,278 people within a 10-minute walk and 6,470 within a 20-minute walk.
