A refurbishment in the region of £120,341 is planned to transform the Coach & Horses into a refreshed community pub that builds on its traditional wet-led character while creating a more premium and versatile experience for local customers. What would you do with this pub to make it a success?

About the area The Coach & Horses is a roadside community pub on busy Liverpool Road in Cadishead, surrounded by a mix of shops, food outlets and housing. Its prominent position gives the pub strong visibility and places it at the heart of the local community. There are 3,914 adults living within walking distance of the pub. The existing trade is predominantly wet-led, with a traditional, value-focused offer and an established community customer base. Following refurbishment, the pub will retain its relevance for regular customers while broadening its appeal and building a wider following. Competition nearby is limited, with three competitors within the area. The main alternatives are The Plough, a community wet-led pub, and The Firs, a social club with an entertainment focus.
