Nutreco, a leader in animal nutrition, seeks a Ruminant Sustainability Specialist in the UK to drive sustainability initiatives across the ruminant sector. You will work with Technical and Sales teams, support on-farm solutions, and translate research into practical actions for customers.

Hybrid role based in Ashbourne with travel within the UK and occasional abroad. A degree in relevant field and 2–5 years’ experience are preferred, with strong communication and stakeholder skills.

Formación

• Degree in Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
• On-farm or livestock sector experience essential; some commercial or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Strong awareness of sustainability in farming and animal nutrition.
• 2–5 years’ relevant experience in animal feeding industry.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to build trust, strong relationships, and influence effectively.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally abroad.
• Location: hybrid role based in the Ashbourne, with flexibility to work from home.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development and delivery of the sustainability strategy for the UK ruminant nutrition market.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and customers, including sustainability projects and on-farm solutions
• Stay up to date with sustainability legislation, agricultural trends, and scientific research, and translate insights into practical actions for the business
• Collaborate with Technical and Sales teams to engage customers and demonstrate the value of sustainability in ruminant nutrition
• Support the rollout and management of digital platforms, ensuring effective training, adoption, and stakeholder engagement
• Contribute to technical innovation projects, working with local, regional, and global teams to bring new solutions to the UK market
• Participate in on-farm visits, customer meetings, and industry events to represent Trouw Nutrition GB
