Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced RTT Validator to manage, monitor and validate 18-week RTT Pathways. You will oversee the Patient Tracking List, ensure data accuracy, and escalate breaches.

The role operates within an integrated care model across Surgery, Medicine and Women’s & Children’s Services and requires NHS data literacy and Excel proficiency. Based at Walsall Manor Hospital, the post offers a permanent, full-time (30 hours per week) contract with a competitive Band

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 required; GCSE A-C or equivalent.
• Experience in a Data Quality/Validation role is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to collate, analyse and present data.

Responsibilities

• Interpret medical records and clinical letters to validate RTT Pathways.
• Validate and update 18-week RTT Pathways in CareFlow/EPR systems.
• Analyse patient pathways from electronic notes and reports.
• Produce graphs/charts using Excel to illustrate validation themes.
• Identify inaccuracies in CareFlow and raise queries as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of RTT rules and division areas.
