Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced RTT Validator to manage, monitor and validate 18-week RTT pathways. You will ensure PTL data accuracy, expedite treatments, and escalate breaches in collaboration with administrative teams across the Trust.

Responsibilities include data interpretation from medical records, CareFlow and EPR, plus Excel-based reporting. You will gain in-depth RTT knowledge and support across Surgery, Medicine and Women’s & Children’s services.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent
• Substantive experience in a Data Quality/Validation role
• NHS experience and understanding of RTT principles
• Able to articulate RTT concepts clearly

Responsibilities

• Interpret info from medical records and letters to judge RTT pathway status
• Validate, correct and update 18-week RTT pathway in CareFlow via EPR
• Analyze patient pathways from electronic notes and medical records
• Use Excel to interpret reports and create pivot tables
• Identify and investigate inaccuracies in CareFlow and raise queries as needed
• Develop expertise in 18-week RTT rules and Trust Access Policy
• Maintain knowledge across Surgery, Medicine and Women’s & Children’s Divisions
