Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a data analyst to support RTT 18 weeks pathways through accurate data capture, validation, and improvement activities. The role involves cross-team collaboration and audit support within a hospital environment.

You will analyse data, identify risks to compliance, and contribute to implementing improvements using systems such as QCPR and related tools. This position is based on-site in Preston, UK.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of analysing and interpreting data.
• Experience of working within a team.
• Administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with timely capture of data across the Trust.
• Validate RTT/18 Weeks PTL database and identify compliance risks.
• Validate 18 weeks breaches for admitted and non-admitted patients.
• Extract pathway information from clinical correspondence and systems.
• Use Bi Portal, Prism, GI Tool to extract data for analysis.
• Elevate inaccuracies and gaps in RTT data collection.
• Process validation/exception reports and escalate issues as needed.
• Communicate patient RTT pathway information by appropriate medium.
• Promote understanding of 18 weeks RTT measures and patient access rights.
• Escalate potential RTT breaches to senior staff as identified.
• Assist data collection for audits and support pathway improvements.
• Support working practices to achieve RTT measures.
• Utilise computerised and manual systems efficiently.
