J Murphy & Sons is seeking a skilled Record to Report Team Leader to join the Finance Shared Service Team in Wigan. You will lead accounting activities across the general ledger, month-end close, and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will manage and develop the RTR team, drive process improvements, and work with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable financial data for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent
• Strong RTR experience, ideally in a Shared Services environment
• Experience with General Ledger and month-end processes
• Knowledge of Power BI and data warehouses

Responsabilités

• Manage accounting activities related to general ledger and management accounts.
• Ensure timely month-end close and accurate reporting across the JMS Group.
• Lead and develop the RTR team with performance reviews and coaching.
• Provide executive reporting and sign-off for journals and reconciliations.
• Coordinate intercompany charges and settlements monthly.
• Deliver balance sheet reconciliations and robust control governance.
• Support external audits and group compliance programmes.
