Job summary

Capita is recruiting for a Full-time role at Selborne in Portsmouth to train Royal Navy personnel in Weapon Systems Control Principles. The role focuses on guiding students through Phase 3 courses across all WE department cadres, delivering both practical and theoretical instruction.

Candidate will use performance data to drive improvements and collaborate with L&D to tailor the learner journey. Eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Experience in maintaining control systems.
• Level 4 teaching certificate or equivalent or willingness to enroll in internal course.
• Experience in Military Weapon Engineering Control Systems or equivalent.
• Understanding RN WE departmental workings or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training on RN Control Systems for the Weapon Engineering (WE) Department.
• Deliver both practical and theory-based training.
• Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement in training performance.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development and Training Delivery staff to tailor learner journeys.
• Represent the needs of Weapons Engineering Training to the Delivery Team Leader.
• Support piloting and implementation of modernised training courses.
