Job summary

The Royal Mint Experience is seeking enthusiastic Tour Guides to join as part-time team members. The role involves delivering engaging tours, providing exceptional customer service, and bringing history to life for visitors from across the UK and beyond.

Hours vary, including weekends and evenings on a rota, with a minimum of 6 hours per week. Opening hours are 09:30–16:30, expanding to 08:30–20:30 over Christmas. Successful candidates must be flexible to work Monday–Sunday.

• Deliver engaging and informative guided tours to visitors.

The Royal Mint Experience is looking for enthusiastic and engaging Tour Guides to join the team on a part-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people, delivering exceptional customer service, and bringing stories to life for visitors from across the UK and beyond.

Hours of Work

Hours will vary and will include weekends, evenings and school holidays on a rota basis and are 6 hours each.

Opening hours are 09:30 - 16:30 Monday - Sunday and will extend over the Christmas period 08:30 - 20:30.

Successful candidates must be flexible and available to work between Monday and Sunday.

Minimum contracted hours: 6 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and informative guided tours to visitors.

• Awareness of health and safety practices.
• An interest in storytelling and history.
