Job summary

Brunning And Price is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and adaptive chef to join our growing gastro-pub group as a Roving Head Chef. Based in the Hampshire/Berkshire area, you’ll support our pubs and new openings, with occasional travel away from home.

You’ll oversee kitchen operations, drive the food culture, deputise for Head Chef during holidays, and enjoy benefits including a up to £42,000 basic, car allowance, paid overtime, staff meals, and generous discount.

Qualifications

• Head chef level experience in a gastro pub, restaurant or hotel.
• Proven ability to lead kitchen teams and maintain standards.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Cover holidays and deputise for Head Chef as needed.

About You...

Previous experience in catering and hospitality in a gastro pub, restaurant or hotel at head chef or senior sous chef level is essential, as well as a positive and flexible attitude. In this role you’ll be covering holidays, involved in new openings or could be deputising for a Head Chef. You’ll help support with running the kitchen, driving the food culture and keeping your team and our customers engaged with exciting new dishes.
