Job summary

Bidfood is seeking a Transport Route Planner for a 6-month secondment in the United Kingdom. You will plan and optimise driver routes, ensuring efficiency, safety and compliance while supporting customer requirements and service levels.

The role involves collaboration with Transport Team Managers, Fleet teams and sales to maintain depot KPI targets and commercial viability.

Qualifications

• Strong geographical knowledge.
• Experience using transport planning software (Paragon preferred).
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations.
• Confident decision-maker with excellent organisational skills.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• A team player who communicates well across departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimise driver routes using internal systems (Paragon).

This is a 6 months secondment role.
