Job summary

Cambridge City Council is seeking a full-time officer to drive the Long-Term Rough Sleeping Partnership Plan in Cambridge. You will collaborate with council teams, health services, housing providers and charities to prevent rough sleeping long-term and improve access to housing, health care, and recovery opportunities.

The ideal candidate will understand the causes of rough sleeping, have strong partnership knowledge, and be able to liaise across multiple organisations to achieve quick results

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the causes of rough sleeping and street-related activity.
• Strong knowledge of existing services and partnership arrangements.
• Ability to liaise with multiple partners and drive quick results.

Responsibilities

• Work with Cambridge City Council, charity partners and statutory services to implement the Long-Term Rough Sleeping Partnership Plan.
• Assist people who have no local connection to the city to access accommodation and support under Reconnections policy.
• Hold partners, internal and external, to account for actions within plans and ensure delivery.
