Job summary

St Mungo's Lewisham is seeking a Case Coordinator to coordinate day-to-day casework for the Pan London Rough Sleeping Teams, ensuring timely support and personalised plans for clients.

You will work with local authorities, housing services and voluntary agencies to move clients into suitable accommodation with the right support, line manage Assessment and Reconnection Workers, and contribute to flexible hours to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience of communicating, liaising and negotiating at a high level.
• Experience of client case management and resilience to achieve outcomes.
• Ability to manage complex behaviours and motivate staff and clients to achieve outcomes with a creative and person centred approach.
• Ability to coordinate a project or team in a homelessness service and provide reconnection advice.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others whilst managing your own time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day case work of the team to ensure high quality personalised casework.
• Work in partnership with local authorities, accommodation services, statutory and voluntary agencies to move clients into appropriate accommodation with the correct support.
• Line manage and provide essential support and supervision to Assessment and Reconnection Workers.
• Work mainly within normal office hours, with flexibility to support the team or a client in the evening or weekend.
