Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care at Blaise Referral Hospital in Longbridge, Birmingham, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team on a full-time basis. You will provide high-quality nursing care across wards, surgery, anaesthesia, ECC, ICU, medicine, imaging and our daytime emergency service, supporting patient safety from admission to discharge.

• Must be registered as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in multidisciplinary referral hospital desirable.
• Strong clinical knowledge and practical nursing competence.
• Excellent communication and client relationships.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Proactive learning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a multidisciplinary referral caseload.
• Rotate across services including Wards, Surgery, Anaesthesia, ECC, ICU, Medicine, Imaging and Emergency care.
• Support specialist teams with patient care from admission through to discharge.
• Assist with urgent referral cases and inter‑disciplinary transfers.
