Job summary

Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Physiotherapist (Band 6) to join our medical rotations carousel, including Frailty Therapy Intervention and Stroke teams. The post is 37.5 hours, permanent, with part-time consideration, and will rotate across surgical and medical directorates.

NHS experience is essential; current HCPC registration required. DBS check payable by the applicant, with cost deducted from the first salary.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is essential.
• Current DBS check is required and paid by the applicant (costs deducted from first salary).
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and clinical governance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, responsive care to patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Rotational work across Frailty Therapy Intervention, Stroke and Medical Specialities with potential expansion to other directorates.
• Contribute to service development, audit and clinical governance activities.
• Work 5 days over a 7-day service with varied shifts (8am-4pm, 12pm-8pm, 11am-7pm).
