Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships Limited is recruiting for a Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship in the Thames Valley region, part of the Thames Water Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3 or above or Functional Skills Level 1 or above.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate financial information related to construction projects.
• Control costs during a construction project.
• Produce take-offs for building plans.
• Communicate with clients and colleagues to exchange financial information.
• Understand and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Administrate and analyse contracts, timesheets, tenders, pre-qualifying questionnaires, and price lists.
• Perform cost assessments, measurements, or valuations using data from research.
