Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveying Apprentice to join the Thames Water Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. The role blends office work with site visits, focusing on cost data, tenders, and regulatory compliance across the Thames Valley region.

You will rotate through environments, gaining hands-on experience and industry exposure, while working towards Level 4 Construction Quantity Surveying Technician qualification over 24–36 months.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3 or above, or Functional Skills at Level 1 or above.
• Right to work in England for last 3 years.
• 18+ due to site H&S rules.
• Full UK driver’s license and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate financial information related to construction projects.
• Control costs during a construction project.
• Produce take-offs for building plans.
• Communicate financial information with clients and colleagues.
• Assist with legal and contractual issues on projects.
• Record, control and report income and expenditure on projects.
