Watkin Jones is seeking a motivated Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team and develop a career in Quantity Surveying. An exciting degree apprenticeship option is available for unqualified applicants, studying towards a degree while working with attendance at university each week.

Qualifications

• Academic or vocational exposure to the construction industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with high numeracy ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial management of construction projects and tender processes.
• Assist with measurements, tender enquiries and analyses, procurement.
• Support subcontractor payments, cost management and commercial reporting.
• Provide general administrative support to the commercial function.
