United Infrastructure Ltd is recruiting Apprentice/Trainee Quantity Surveyors for its Water division, offering hands-on experience from day one. You will support the commercial team and assist Quantity Surveyors with estimating and cost control across construction projects, engaging with internal colleagues and clients at every stage.
The role includes studying the Level 6 Chartered Surveyor - QS Pathway via the University of the Built Environment, with online remote learning and tutor support.

We are looking for Apprentice/Trainee Quantity Surveyors to join our Water division who are a national provider of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water and wastewater services to UK water utility companies. Day to day, you will support the commercial team and you will assist the Quantity Surveyors who estimate and control costs for our construction projects, working with both internal colleagues and our clients at every stage of the project.

As a Trainee with United Infrastructure, you’ll be given a real job from day one where you will gain hands‑on industry experience, and the knowledge required to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. In order to fully develop in your role, you will be enrolled onto the Level 6 Chartered Surveyor - QS Pathway apprenticeship qualification with our training partner the University of the Built Environment. This learning pathway is delivered entirely remotely, and you will access online self‑accessed or virtually delivered classroom sessions, and one‑to‑one support from your tutor or coach. They will also meet regularly with you and your line manager to ensure you are progressing through your programme.
Please note, as this is an apprenticeship programme, in order to be eligible to apply you must not already have an equivalent level or higher qualification in the occupational area, or significant work experience.
