Job summary

National Skills Agency is seeking an experienced Tutor - Quantity Surveying to deliver high-quality teaching, coaching, assessment and learner support for apprentices on Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Level 4 and Site Supervisor Level 4 standards. The role focuses on online delivery with occasional employer visits to support learners.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload, engage employers, and ensure learners progress through onboarding, Gateway and EPA while meeting

Qualifications

• Experience delivering or assessing Construction and/or Quantity Surveying qualifications.
• Industry experience within Quantity Surveying or Construction.
• Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and learner development.
• Experience managing learner caseloads and supporting achievement.
• Excellent communication, coaching and organisational skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging online learning.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of apprentices throughout their apprenticeship.
• Act as the main point of contact for learners, employers and workplace mentors.
• Deliver engaging teaching, coaching and learning activities.
• Conduct regular one-to-one reviews, progress meetings and teaching sessions.
• Deliver high-quality online and blended learning across Construction and Quantity Surveying programmes.
• Assess learner work in line with awarding organisation and apprenticeship requirements.
