Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital in Clydebank, Scotland, is recruiting a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to join the Rehabilitation Team. You will deliver autonomous, patient-centred physiotherapy across elective services and heart/lung centres, supporting enhanced recovery after cardiothoracic and orthopaedic surgery.

Join a multidisciplinary team, rotate through specialist areas, and contribute to seven-day service commitments, with flexible working options and ongoing

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy required.
• HCPC registration or awaiting registration.
• Core student placements or relevant post-graduate clinical placements completed.
• Demonstrate effective team-working and communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver physiotherapy programmes for a diverse patient caseload.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to enhanced recovery pathways across cardiothoracic and orthopaedic services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
• Participate in audit, service improvement and governance activities.
• Supervise Rehabilitation Assistants where appropriate.
• Rotate through specialist clinical areas as directed and cover seven-day service requirements.
