County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 rotational Physiotherapist to join a dynamic team across inpatients, outpatients, community rehab and paediatrics. Successful candidates will join our diverse team, rotations trust wide across a range of clinical specialties within inpatients, outpatients, community rehabilitation and paediatrics.
You will work alongside colleagues to assess and treat patients across a range of clinical conditions with varying degrees of complexity.
You will be responsible for delivering evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well-being and optimise independent function.
You will be an active member of the physiotherapy team and the wider multi-disciplinary team. We are seeking people who can adapt to changing environments and work well in a team.

The interview for this role will be held on 19th/20th October at UHND.
Successful applicants will work alongside senior physiotherapists and the wider MDT and your development will be supported by the team leads. The post holder will be responsible for a designated clinical caseload, support is available in the form of supervisions and joint working. The role requires a dynamic physiotherapist who is able to work within the physiotherapy team and multidisciplinary team to provide exemplary care to the patient. The successful applicant will utilise their outstanding organisation and communication skills in order to support with the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients whilst achieving outstanding physiotherapy outcomes.
This post will include working with a diverse range of conditions in highly complex patients with physical, psychological and social care needs.
You will assess, diagnose, implement and evaluate individual programmes of care for patients with a wide range of clinical needs. Band 5 rotational physiotherapists rotate 6 monthly throughout a wide range of specialities and teams within CDDFT.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
