Job summary

NHS Tayside in Scotland is recruiting two rotational Pharmacy Technicians at Band 4/5. The roles provide experience across dispensing, stores, clinical areas, aseptic dispensing, and homecare, with 36 hours across a 7-day week.

Candidates must be registered with the GPhC or be a pre-registration trainee due to qualify in 2026; those training to undertake final accuracy checks are welcome. Successful applicants progress to Band 5 after completion.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or a pre-registration trainee due to qualify with the GPhC in 2026.
• Requires willingness to train to undertake the final accuracy check of dispensed medicines.

Responsibilities

• Rotational role across dispensary, stores/distribution, clinical areas providing near-patient service, the aseptic dispensing unit and homecare.
