Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Devon is seeking a Rotational Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy team. You will work alongside Pharmacists, Technicians and the public, rotating through Dispensary, Distribution, Procurement and Technical Services to support patient care.

The role requires an NVQ level 2 or equivalent and GCSEs in Maths, English and Science; strong IT and time-management skills; and being a team player.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 qualification (or working towards).
• GCSEs (Maths, English and Science) at grade C or above.
• Good IT, time management, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense inpatient and outpatient prescriptions and reception duties.
• Support wards with medicines top-up in Distribution.
• Assist with receipt of medicines and handling bulk fluids.
• Work in clean rooms to assist with cytotoxic medicine preparation.
