Job summary

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a pharmacy support role for an 8-month fixed-term period. The post holder will contribute to dispensing, stock control and ward support within the pharmacy, including reception duties and charge processing.

The ideal candidate will have GCSE English & Maths, NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services or working towards it, and strong communication skills to work effectively in a large multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Use Pharmacy computer system to produce picking lists, packs and supply drugs and medicines to wards and departments.
• Perform daily temperature monitoring within different areas of the pharmacy as required by MHRA.
• Assist in labelling and dispensing medicines to inpatients and outpatients, wards and departments when required.
• Work on reception, taking prescriptions from patients and handling prescription charges.
