Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rotational Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacy team across dispensary, distribution, procurement and technical services. The role involves working with Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team, while providing high-quality patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Applicants should have strong IT and time management, good communication and organisational skills, and be a team player.

Formación

• Applicants should have good IT and time management skills, good communication and organisational skills, be a team player.
• Preferable pharmaceutical experience holding NVQ level 2 qualification, but training will be given and you would be expected to work towards NVQ level 2 or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Dispensary: dispensing inpatient and outpatient prescriptions and reception duties.
• Distribution: providing wards with medicines top-up service.
• Procurement: assisting with receipt of medicines, moving and handling boxes of bulk fluids.
• Technical Services: working in clean rooms to assist with preparation of cytotoxic medicines.
