Job summary

NCIC in Whitehaven is seeking a Rotational Band 5 Occupational Therapist for a permanent post of 37.5 hours per week. You will rotate through Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, Stroke Rehab and Community Rehab, building your independence while receiving strong supervision.

The role supports returning to practice and offers a development-focused environment with a proactive peer network and preceptorship where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent and HCPC registration.
• Current HCPC registration is required.
• Experience across clinical placements and managing a caseload is desirable.
• Willingness to participate in a rotational scheme.

Responsibilities

• Work in a rotational scheme across Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, Stroke Rehab and Community Rehabilitation Services.
• Deliver occupational therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team and develop delegation skills.
• Engage in regular supervision and contribute to the Band 5 Peer Support Group.
• Participate in weekend working rota as required by rotation.
