Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for a Band 5 rotational scheme, providing experience across Community Integrated Rehabilitation, Acute Stroke & Neurology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, A&E, and more.

You will manage your own caseload with support from a Senior Occupational Therapist, using goal setting and treatment planning to promote independent functioning in a person-centred approach.

Qualifications

• Autonomous practitioner with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in goal setting, treatment planning and risk assessment.
• Commitment to person-centred care and flexible working.

Responsibilities

• Hold responsibility for own caseload and perform autonomous clinical duties with daily access to a Senior Occupational Therapist.
• Undertake occupational therapy assessments including goal setting, treatment planning, and promoting independent functioning.
